Last weekend at Kymers 2010

Went up to Kymers this weekend for the last weekend of the year for me.  Went up Friday night and played some Monopoly with my wife, DJ Lenny, and Zippy.  My wife kicked everyone’s ass.

They stuck DJ Lenny in the trailer that has two bunk beds in it for guests.  I’m not exactly small enough for the top bunk and the beds don’t comfortably fit 2 people.  Zippy slept in one room and Jackie and I tried to sleep in the other one, it didn’t work well.  I ended up giving up and folding myself up like an accordion onto the small couch in the living room of the trailer.  Needless to say, I barely slept and had some major back pain for the day.  However, all was fine since my sister came up with my nephew and niece from Barnegat early Saturday morning for pumpkin painting and trick or treating.

We walked the whole campground (pretty much as we skipped about 4 sites that were really out of the way) trick or treating.  The kids got a lot of candy (I even got a Capri Sun!).  Most of the seasonals had some nice set ups, one of them was giving away beer to the adults…lol.  I don’t drink otherwise I would have been all over that.  When that was said and done I had to get ready for the party later that night.

However, since I had some time to kill, my wife, Zippy, and I all went to Stokes to refill our water bottles with fresh spring water.  We left there and went up to Sunrise Mountain since it was such a beautiful day…and yes…I forgot my camera.

We got back pretty much just in time to set up for the party.  There were a TON of kids at the party and we played some games and had some fun.

At least this year everyone was appropriately dressed for the party (in other words, there were no grown men wearing diapers).  I think I was pretty shocked considering that everything went pretty smoothly.

We even had someone dressed in a banana suit when we ended the night with “Peanut Butter Jelly Time”!

Once the party was over Lenny and I packed up our stuff, Lenny and Patti went back to their trailer and my wife and I went home.  I spent all day Sunday and most of the day Monday working in the house, mostly attempting to get my work room in order finally.  It’s going pretty good….but that’s for another post…and I’ll add pictures to that one too.

Til then….have fun!

He’s Alive!

Wow….I’ve been gone a while haven’t I?  Yea….I saw that coming a mile away.  I get so involved in so many different things that for some reason I never have time for me.  Yes….this site is supposed to be “me”.  The drivelings of my mind….well….here we go again.

Let’s start with why I disappeared…..again.  My last post was back in June of 2008.  The campground (Kymers Camping Resort) I have been going to for 20 years would be in “full swing” at that time.  That means I would be there every weekend.  In other words I had no “spare” time.

During this time though I did more work at the store Serendipity Deals adding more products and categories….and removing crap from a shitty supplier.  Speaking of….if anyone out there is planning on starting their own online store….STEER CLEAR OF DOBA.  I can’t stress that enough.  Wait…on second thought….you would then be competition wouldn’t you?  In that case….by all means….go get screwed!  However….my Doba rant is enough for another post all on its own.

How about the Castle?  Castle No Fear had one hell of a year last year getting tons of new users and we have over 1100 games for you to play for FREE.  I try and add about 6 new games a week now…typically on Fridays.  Stop by and have some fun.  We upgraded the gold system (which we refer to as Dole) as well as the arcade…and added an AWESOME casino to spend your not so hard earned dole on.

Let’s not forget that Fired Up Radio also celebrated it’s first birthday this passed February 1st!  Wooo!  Go drama free radio!

Oh….yea….my latest triumph?  After a stale, stagnent year with NFMDesigns.com I finally destroyed the “brick wall” page that I had that was difficult to read.  I dropped Joomla from the site and installed Drupal 6.1 and now it has new life!

So….expect to finally see some more activity at these sites as I’m on a full press (I know I left out “court” but I hate basketball) to bring my madness to the world!

(queue evil laugh)
